Volunteer Grants
Volunteer Grants Given to Non-Profit Organizations and Institutions
This year, volunteers all around the world come together to celebrate the 10th Year Anniversary of the United Nations International Year of Volunteers.
Volunteers are one of the most important resources in a society. Aside from the local government, they are the ones who extend help to the community by offering their time and skills in order to serve those people who are in need. The Australian Federal Government recognizes their efforts by giving them support in the form of volunteer grants.
This grant by definition is a form of funding assistance, which is given to non-profit organizations and institutions that are involved in volunteer work. The purpose of the volunteer grant is to provide financial assistance to those who are willingly working for the betterment of their society and local community.
